Hydration and Bodybuilding

It is very important to drink much water during the day. How much you drink varies from person to person but a minimum should be 2,5 l. You should drink so much water for a couple of reasons.


FAT LOSS When drinking water you will feel less hungry, with other words you will not eat as much food. This will result in a lower calorie intake. Drinking two glasses of water 10 min before eating will do.

Another reason for drinking more water is INCREASED ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE. When you stay fully hydrated you will have a 19% increase in performance. It is therefore essential to be fully hydrated before a workout so you can push your limits. Hydrating 2-3 hours before a workout is therefore essential.
