I think there is probably 5 kg resistance when you pull the straps, so I wont be able to get a good workout done, or at least not with that piece of equipment. But as I am going to show you, you do not need it at all.
All you really need no build a strong/muscular body is your own body. Media has made you believe that you need shiny machines and ultra pro Protein powder, but in reality you don't.
By just using your own body weight you can get a great workout done, which is much better than doing bicep curls anyway.
I have already done my vacation workout once and it feels really good and for those of you who needs to feel sore the next day, it also makes you feel sore.
To make my workout quick and effective I have built it around three exercises. I know three don't sounds like much, but in reality you don't need more than that.
The first exercise is the pull-up.

I found one place , as you can see on the picture to the right, which is really ideal for some serious pull ups.
I started with 5 repetitions for 5 sets, keeping that Stronglifts 5 x 5 style.
If that is to easy, just do more reps and slow the movement down.
When I was done with my pull ups I did another great body weight exercise, maybe the most famous one - the push up.
The push up hist the chest and triceps and the good thing about the push up is, you can do so many variations. You can do clapping push ups, you can elevate your legs or just do normal ones.
Here I did 10 explosive push ups, for three sets.
If that isn't enough challenge, do more repetitions or do clap push ups.

As you can see on the picture to the right, I did my dips on the bed, but here you also have to be creative. You can also use chairs, sofas and tables (if they are low;).
I did 10 x 3, so ten repetitions for three sets.
The dip hits your shoulders, triceps and lower chest, so the dips also works a lot of muscles.
One thing I wanted to show with this article is; you don't need any equipment for getting in shape. You can build a great body only with body weight exercises, so there are really no excuses for not working out.
Be creative and find places for doing different exercises, experiment and get stronger, which you will.
If you combine those three exercises that I just showed you and do cardio for your legs, you have a great whole body vacation workout that doesn't take more than 30 min, for the busy people around here.
