Expectations

Some people start working out some weeks before the summer holidays to look good at the beach. Those people will not see much progress in terms of muscle mass and will therefor claim that they are ectomorphs, which In reality is just their expectations that are completely off.

It doesn't take weeks or even month to see noteworthy progress, it takes YEARS.
If you want to see some development in muscle mass you should at least dedicate one year to see any progress. One year may seem like a long time, but if you are not willing to dedicate that much time, there is no real point in  even starting in the first place. It really takes ONE year to see progress.

My advice would therefore be to commit to bodybuilding one year and then measure your progress by then. If you dont see some gains by then, you should check your nutrition.

GOOD LUCK;)
