There are many opinions about the deadlift, some for and some against but in this article I will only cover the positive ones.
The main reasons that the deadlift is a great exercise are;
- improves posture
- engages many muscles in the whole body (Core, Hamstrings, Glutes, Forearms, spinal Erectors, Lower Back, Traps and Calves)
- Reduces Back Pain
Although some can come up with arguments why deadlifting is bad for you, my opinion is that the benefits outweighs the almost none exisiting negative "side effects".
