Have you ever experienced knee pain when squatting? For most of us the answer is yes. Although the pain isn't so strong during your work out, the pain becomes stronger after your workout or with other words, when you are resting.
The pain is pretty restricting, but fortunately it is very easy to avoid just by correcting a little bit on your form.
So what is the simple tip to avoid knee pain?
- It is simply to lean your weight on your heels so your knees don't go beyond your toes.
So if you would draw a line from your knee, that line should never pass your toes, because that is when the pain comes. So always keep your knees behind your toes.
If you still don't know what I mean, which I would completely understand, I have made a little drawing where you can see the line I was talking about.
By distributing all your weight on the heel of the foot you are going to be able to keep your knees behind the red line.
By doing that, you will decrease the risk of getting knee pain and injuring yourself.
