Every new bodybuilder gets to hear how important protein is. Therefor everyone rushes to the store to buy some protein powder or protein shake after their workout. Because you need it, right?
It is true that your muscles consists of protein and that your body needs it to build more muscles. Without the building blocks you can't build anything, in this case muscle. But something important that new bodybuilders have too understand is, that protein powder is only a supplement. A meal supplement.It has no magical effects, it just supplies your body with the resources it needs to build new/more muscle.So don't think protein powder is something magical, it is just a supplement like vitamin C pills. Nothing fancy.
So if you can't get any protein powder, don't disappear. You are probably getting the amount you need from your real food already.
